Sarah's Old Fashioned Dental Paste

Sarah's Old Fashioned Dental Paste
2 tablespoons of lemon or orange zest
2 cups of baking soda
1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide
1 tablespoon of vaseline
½ tablespoon of vinegar
½ tablespoon of salt
2 drops of flavored extract

First, you want to take the lemon (or you can use orange) rinds and place them into a food processor. You want to grind the grinds (hahaha!) until they become powder. You then want to add baking soda and salt. As you are doing this, you want to combine the hydrogen peroxide, vaseline, and vinegar. You then wanna combine everything together and blend it. As you are blending it, you want to add more baking soda. Add enough baking soda that it is thick in consistency. Add 2 drops of flavored extract. You can then begin brushing. If you notice a change in color, texture, flavor, or smell; throw it away.

Sarah's Whipped Olive Oil Shaving Cream

Sarah's Whipped Olive Oil Shaving Cream
1 cup of whipped cream
4 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons of borax
¼ cup of steric acid

Combine the steric acid and olive oil in double broiler for about 20 minutes or until the consistency is clear. As you are doing this, you then want to mix borax and whipped cream together. Try to mix it until it is dissolved. You then want to slowly pour in the steric acid and olive oil mixture, with the borax and whipped cream mixture. Blend well for about 5 minutes. Afterwards, you want to pour into a clean container and let it set, until it is completely cool. You can then begin to use the homemade shaving cream.

Sarah's Homemade Citrus Hairspray

Sarah's Homemade Citrus Hairspray

1 lemon
1 orange
1 grapefruit
1 tangerine (optional)
3 cups of water
6 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol

Chop up your lemon, orange, grapefruit, and tangerine (which is optional). Place into a pot with 3 cups of water. Boil until half the initial amount remains. Cool, drain, and place into a spray bottle. You then wanna store in the refridgerator for about 15 minutes. If the mixture is too sticky, you wanna add more water. You then wanna add the 6 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol. Shake the spray bottle and test out your spray. This spray is good for about 2 weeks, however; if you notice a change in color, texture, or smell throw it away.

Sarah's Exotic Grape Foot Treatment

Sarah's Exotic Grape Foot Treatment

1 bag of grapes (purple, green, red, etc)
1 cup of honey
½ cup of olive oil
1 teaspoon of baking soda

Add your grapes into a large bowl (or a container, large enough to fit your feet into). Stir in the honey, olive oil, and baking soda. When everything is combined, you just want to put your feet in it and squoosh the grapes. This is actually fun and for those who have been to a winery, it's like making wine, hahaha. Do this for about 10 minutes. Then sit on a chair with your feet (or foot, if you just want to try one or do one at a time) in the mixture for about an extra 10 minutes. Rinse with cold water.
