The Body Shop, Body Butter Collection - A Collection Worth Trying

The Body Shop is a brand that provides you with beauty products that are heavily influenced by nature. For over 30 years, The Body Shop continues to prove why they are an internationally known ethical beauty brand. If you find nature inspired products appealing, more than likely, The Body Shop is the place for you.

When shopping at Sephora, I recently had the opportunity to come across The Body Shop's Body Butter Collection. The Body Butter Collection includes four of The Body Shop's best selling body butters in small/mini sizes. The Body Butter Collection includes four best sellers in Mango, Satsuma, Coconut, and Shea. The Coconut body butter is 1.69 oz. as the Satsuma body butter is 1.7 oz. The Mango and Shea body butters are both 1.75 oz. each. When you purchase these products in the full size (which is about 10 oz. each), they retail for about $20 a piece. I decided to purchase the product and try it for myself.

The Mango Body Butter is a nice scented mango, but possesses undertones that are natural smelling. When you smell your favorite body spray from a brand that doesn't use natural ingredients, you will notice an artificial scent. Unlike the artificial smell you would garner from that body spray, this fantastic addition to The Body Shop smells like an actual mango.

The Satsuma Body Butter has a nice citrus scent. If you can imagine Mandarin Oranges mixed with a light, yet clean scented cream, you will not only learn to love this scent/product, but appreciate it, much more so. The cream is as luxurious as a cream can get. Using real Satsuma as an essential oil definitely defines why this product is terrific.

The Coconut Body Butter is a wonderful, yet tropical coconut smelling product. I love this product because it smells very natural and the product itself is rather long-lasting. Not only does this product smell fabulous, it is incredibly moisturizing and hydrating. The Coconut Body Butter also uses authentic, bona-fide coconut oil. If I had to choose my favorite out of all of the four body butters, without hesitation, I would definitely choose this one.

The Shea Body Butter has a clean scent that is relatively mild. If you are looking for a product that bares limited scent and actually delivers product benefits, you may find the Shea Body Butter to be the most appealing out of the four best selling body butters. Using authentic, yet very natural ingredients from Brazil, Ghana, and Peru, this product is the best solution to dry skin.

PROS

Although the scent is important, the product itself bares more importance. If there is anything I cannot stand, it is a moisturizer that is not only heavy, but sticky and unnatural feeling. The body butters are the opposite. They are light and so natural feeling, they sink into your skin adding an instant hydration that is subtle, yet effective and long-lasting.

Sometimes natural is better, especially in the case of the body butters. If you are an individual that embraces natural ingredients, you will definitely find this product incredibly fascinating. The Body Shop body butters are not only free of sulfates and petrochemicals, the body butters are also free of Phthalates, GMOs, and Triclosans.

Because this product is four, small sized products of The Body Shop's best selling body butter products, it is gift giving friendly. It comes in a small box, with a red ribbon. Whether you want to give it to your mother, your sister, your cousin, your girlfriend, your friend, or yourself, this is a great gift.

CONS

The individual body butter products in this set are relatively small, as they are mini size. This gift is only recommended for those looking to try The Body Shop's best selling body butters. It is also recommended for those that are new to The Body Shop and are looking for variety.

RATING - 93%

You can purchase The Body Shop Body Butter Collection at your local Body Shop retailer or Sephora for $20. Would I use this product again? No. Why? Simply because I have tried the products and although diversity and variety is in my forte, I want to take the next step and purchase an individual, full size body butter that possesses my favorite scent. Would I recommend this product? Yes. Especially to those looking to try The Body Shop's best selling body butters for the first time.

Makeup Product Reviews: NARS Illuminator

When shopping at Sephora recently, I had the great opportunity of discovering the NARS Illuminator. This great addition to NARS cosmetics guarantees that it works for multiple purposes, but glides onto the skin, promoting vibrant, yet moisturized skin, as well as, chic shine. I have been in search of a great luminizing product for a long time, so I decided to try the product.

PROS

The NARS Illuminator guarantees to be a multifunctional face product that works to create luminosity that is understated and unpretentious. The moment you try this product, you will definitely understand why it lives up to it's marketed promise.

Is natural always better? If you are one that embraces this concept, you are definitely going to love the NARS Illuminator. Although this product is pigmented, it's sheer and light. You can build color, if necessary, however; you only need a moderate amount. If you feel that less is better, you will find the NARS Illuminator fantastic.

If you are anything like me, you can appreciate a product that is incredibly long-lasting. The NARS Illuminator does not melt, let alone smudge or fade. If you use this product after your favorite priming product, you can expect it to last for hours upon hours.

The shades available in this product are fantastic and incredibly flexible. "Copacabana" is the lightest shade, which is a stunning glossy, yet shimmering pearl. "Laguna" is the darkest shade and is more of a brown with golden shimmer. Out of all of the shades, this shade represents more of a sheer bronzer with pearl effects. "Orgasm" which is beautiful peachy pink with natural shimmer, returns to prove why it is one of NARS best selling names and "Super Orgasm" (my personal favorite) is a gorgeous peachy pink with gold shimmer. Whatever your skin type, whatever your skin tone, out of these four shades alone, you are destined to find a shade that fits your skin tone.

Although this product is not organic, it does possess an array of natural ingredients that work together to make this product awesome. Everything from Polar Berries (Raspberry, Black Currant, etc) to Panthenol (Vitamin B5) and more.

CONS

If you are looking for a luminizing product that is intense and possesses full coverage rather than light, you are not going to like the NARS Illuminator. The NARS Illuminator is subtle, yet sheer and light and is only good for those looking for natural luminosity rather than heavy vibrancy.

Despite containing 1.2 oz. of product for $29, if you are one that doesn't find that reasonable for a luminizing product, then I do not believe you would find the NARS Illuminator appealing.

RATING - 94.5%

NARS cosmetics rarely fail to disappoint. Despite some minor discrepancies with the vastly underrated cosmetic line, I feel that the strengths outweigh the weaknesses. The NARS Illuminator can be purchased for only $29 at Sephora or your nearest NARS retailer. Would I recommend the NARS Illuminator? Most definitely. Would I use this product again? Absolutely.

A Look at the Best Gold Lipglosses of 2011

Gold lip gloss represents a vogue demeanor that delineates sophistication and cachet. It lip gloss shade that symbolizes refinement and when worn properly, can make a huge statement, as a result. One thing is certain, there are an abundant of gold lip glosses in the beauty market today, however; there is only a small amount that would classify as the best. I have decided to narrow down the many gold lip glosses in the beauty world to only the best of 2011.

Did you ever try a product that was so wonderful, that it made an impact on you? I have to admit, ever since I tried Yves Saint Laurent's Golden Gloss, I have been in love. If you are looking for a great Gold lip gloss, I truly recommend Yves Saint Laurent Golden Gloss in "Gold 01" which is a stunning sheer gold. If I had to choose my favorite current lip gloss, this addition to Yves Saint Laurent would definitely be at the top of the list. Yves Saint Laurent Golden Gloss is $30 and is available at Sephora or your nearest Yves Saint Laurent retailer. This is truly love at first try.

Searching for the best gold lip gloss should never be rocket science nor should it ever be time consuming. One of my favorite lip glosses is definitely Mac's lustreglass, as one of my favorite gold lip glosses is Mac's lustreglass in "Instant Gold" which is a gorgeous, yet neutral, shiny, and light gold shade. I have yet to see anyone not look good wearing this particular gold lip gloss. The thing I love most about Mac Cosmetics is that they rarely fail to disappoint. One thing that I can say is you will not be disappointed by their lip products. For just $14.50, you too, can own this stunning gold lip gloss.

When shopping at the Tyson's Corner Mall in McLean, VA I had the perfect opportunity to visit the stand-alone MAC store. With an array of amazing beauty essentials, one beauty essential that caught my attention was definitely a pale gold frost gloss. If you are looking for a wonderful, yet fantastic gold lip gloss, I truly recommend Mac's Tinted Lipglass in "Almondine". I was so impressed with not only the color, but the quality of this product, it was destined to be in my beauty bag instantaneously. For just $14.50, Almondine can be your's too.

Mac Cosmetics has proved continuously why it is one of the biggest makeup entities in the world today. With an array of products that cater to just about every demographic, Mac clearly demonstrates why it is one of the best makeup companies around. One of the best gold lip glosses for 2011 is definitely Mac Plushglass in "Nice Buzz". Nice Buzz is a relatively light gold shimmery gloss with gold pearl. It is rather subtle, yet visible but because it is pigmented, you can build color. Mac's Plushglass is only $17.50 and can be purchased from the official MAC website or your nearest MAC retailer. If you are looking for a great, gold, high-end lip gloss, you definitely want to invest into purchasing this one.

Gold is a promising shade that represents an aura that is passionate and exciting, yet natural and effective. Whether white, whether yellow, and whether rose, gold remains to be true to it's element. If you are looking for a gold shade that is not only very pigmented, but possesses an array of rose undertones, you are going to love Bobbi Brown's Shimmer lip gloss in "Rose Gold" which is simply a rosy gold. Bobbi Brown's Shimmer lip gloss is available at the official website, Sephora, or your nearest Bobbi Brown makeup counter. I have tried so many different types of gold lip glosses and this one remains to be one of my favorites.

Recently when shopping at Sephora, I had the opportunity to discover a new product by Smashbox called the O-Gloss Gold Intuitive lip gloss. If you are looking for a great gold lip gloss shade, you cannot go wrong with Smashbox's O-Gloss Gold Intuitive lip gloss. This lip gloss is more of a golden peach shade, rather than just gold. I like it because it looks great on just about everyone, but can be worn during any time of year. I am an NC42 and I plan on wearing it this summer, that's for sure. Not only is Smashbox is a good brand, but Smashbox is a fun brand. The O-Gloss Gold Intuitive lip gloss is available at Sephora for $22.

Givenchy is an internationally known business that is well known an respected for possessing some of the hautest couture on the planet. What you don't know is that Givenchy's cosmetics are on the same wavelength with their fashion. One of the best products ever invented by Givenchy is definitely Givenchy's Crystal Pop Gloss. Not only is it pigmented, it is moisturizing, and tends to last fairly long. One of my favorite gold lip glosses is definitely "402 Light Up" which is an amazing soft gold shade. This shade looks great on just about everyone and because it is pigmented, can be built to fit the color you wish to achieve. Givenchy's Crystal Pop Gloss is available at Sephora or wherever Givenchy beauty products are sold for just $24.50. Don't settle for less, use the best.

Gold is such a beautiful, yet underrated shade. I will be the first to admit that despite having a minor obsession with gold, I truly find that gold lip gloss to be remarkable. However; just because a product is gold, doesn't mean it is the best or close to it. If you are searching for a great gold lip gloss, you cannot go wrong with Stila's Lip Glaze in "Bananas" which is a stunning shimmering gold. Whether day or night, this beautiful lip gloss shade definitely proves why it is one of the hottest gold lip glosses for 2011. Stila Lip Glaze is $22 and is available at your nearest Stila retailer or Sephora. I will be the first to admit that I am bananas for banana.

Limited edition products can be depressing, but when they are ultimately terrific, there is a good chance you won't have to say good bye. If you are looking for a stunning pale gold shimmer with clear glitter reflects, I truly recommend the newest addition to Tarina Tarantino, the Tarina Tarantino's Bibarucci lip gloss. Tarina Tarantino's Bibarucci lip gloss is available for a limited time at Sephora for just $10. This product is limited edition, which means once it is gone, it's gone.

Chanel is a beauty brand that represents a polishness that is selected, pristine, and upmarket. One of my all time favorite lip glosses ever in the beauty industry is definitely Chanel's Levres Scintillantes Glossimers. Although they are available in an array of colors, I had the pleasure of finding three beautiful gold shades. One of them is "Sunset Gold" which is a beautiful, yet vibrant gold shade. Another is "Goldlight" which is a deep, yet warm vibrant gold. My favorite is definitely "Gold Shine" which is a stunning nude gold shade. Chanel's quality is phenomenal. You can purchase the Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimers for $27 on Chanel's website or your nearest Chanel retailer.

Lancome is more than just a subsidiary of L'Oreal. It is a cosmetic line that represents panache, elegance, simplicity, and class. Lancome is also home to one of the best gold lip glosses in the world today. If you are looking for a very pale, yet bright gold lip gloss, I truly recommend Lancome's Color Fever lip gloss in "Declaring Gold" which is just that. I love Lancome's Color Fever Glosses because they are heavily pigmented, yet hydrating and long-lasting. Available at Sephora or your nearest Lancome retailer and for just $26, Lancome's Color Fever lip gloss in "Declaring Gold" can be your's right now.

Sephora is an internationally known boutique for carrying an array of fantastic, high-end beauty brands. What you don't realize is that the Sephora brand itself is underestimated. One of the best lip glosses of 2011 is definitely Sephora's Ultra-Shine lip gloss in "Gold 01" which is a light gold with a rather opalescent sheen. This remains to be one of my favorite current gold lip glosses. A lot of people seem to neglect how fantastic Sephora branded products are. The Sephora Ultra-Shine lip gloss is $14 and available at Sephora. Most of the time Sephora offers sales and sometimes you can purchase this great lip gloss for just $7.

Japanese cosmetic brands are making so many waves, followed by huge splashes. One of those brands is definitely Shiseido. I remember when I first discovered this beauty brand, years ago. I was quite reluctant until I actually tried it and realized how amazing it actually is. One of the greatest gold lip glosses of the year is definitely Shiseido's Luminizing lip gloss in "Sunlight" which is a light gold shimmer. Shiseido's Luminizing lip gloss is available for $22 at Sephora or your nearest Shiseido retailer. This is real, bona-fide proof that no matter where cosmetics come from, that is irrelevant when it comes to the actual quality of the product itself.

Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. Whether day or night, dark or light, gold lip gloss always looks right. That is the motto I live by when it comes to any kind of gold lip gloss product. The year is 2011 and I always find myself learning more about the cosmetic industry than ever before. One thing I love is finding products that I never knew existed. If you are looking for a great gold lip gloss, I definitely recommend NYX's Diamond Sparkle lip gloss in "Gold Sparkle" which is a very deep, yet bright gold. It is only $5.50 and available at Cherry Culture and your nearest NYX retailer. I love discovering gold lip glosses that are not only cheap, but work great too.

I am a huge fan of gold lip gloss simply because it looks great for every season. Depending on what you pair it with, it always makes some sort of avowal. If you are looking for a great gold lip gloss, I definitely recommend NYX's Mega Shine lip gloss in "Gold" which is a very vibrant, yet bright gold. NYX's Mega Shine lip gloss is available through NYX's official website, Cherry Culture, or your nearest NYX retailer for just $5.50. NYX may not be high-end, but it is definitely affordable and definitely competes with some of the high-end cosmetic entities. Don't let the price fool you, as you get even more than what you pay for.

Whether used alone or paired with your favorite lipstick, gold lip gloss truly proves why it is definitely an relevant beauty necessity and should be in your beauty bag right now. Did your favorite make the list?

A Look at the Best Lipsticks under $5

The beauty market is huge and that is what I love most about it. Out of the many different types of businesses in the world today, the beauty market is highly widespread, yet autonomous. It is a well-known fact that not everyone can afford, let alone wants to purchase, a high-end lipstick for $30. Despite the rather fraught economy, shopping on a budget is comparatively simple. The year is 2011 and even though there is an abundance of lipsticks in the beauty world today, I have decided to narrow down the various lipsticks to only the best for under $5.

Looking for lipstick, especially good lipstick for under $5 can be overwhelming and time consuming. But once you discover you can separate fact from fiction, you will recognize there are possibilities in anything. If you are looking for a fabulous lipstick for under $5, you definitely need to purchase NYX Round lipstick. The colors are incredibly diverse, so you are destined to find at least one shade you love. I own this lipstick in several shades. My favorite is definitely "Strawberry Milk," which is a stunning bright pink. You can purchase NYX Round lipstick for $4 at NYX's official website, Cherry Culture or where NYX cosmetics are sold. Currently, Cherry Culture is selling NYX Round lipstick for just $2.50. Saving money never felt or looked so good. If you are looking to save money, you just cannot go wrong with NYX Round lipstick.

Sometimes searching for beauty on a budget can be overwhelming, but because of the many affordable makeup products in the world today, it is easier than ever. One of the greatest lipsticks is definitely Arissa lipstick. Arissa's selection is so incredibly diverse, you are destined to find what you are looking for. Whether you want to purchase a very bright orange shade like "Tangy" or even "Sunkissed," or even a very bright purple shade like "Diva," or even a bright fuchsia like "Vivacious," you will find what you are looking for. Think Mac, but with a little less quality and for a fraction of the price. Arissa lipstick is available at Cherry Culture for just $3.99. It is currently on sale for just $2.99. The time is now to save.

I absolutely love Milani Color Perfect lipstick. I own this amazing, yet amazingly affordable lipstick in "Sugar Rim," which is a nude mauve shimmer and in "Frosted Pink," a very pale pearl pink. You can purchase Milani cosmetics at Cherry Culture or your local Milani retailer. For just $4.99, Milani Color Perfect lipstick should be in your beauty bag right now. For the price, it is definitely the perfect price for this beauty essential.

When it comes to choosing a great lipstick, one of the most important qualities I look for is a product that is highly pigmented. When a product is highly pigmented, it is not only visible, but lets you build color. If you are looking for a modestly pigmented lipstick, I definitely recommend Jordana lipstick. I love this lipstick in "Pink Touch," which is a bright pink pearl. Imagine the lipstick equivalent dupe for NARS lipgloss in Turkish Delight. Jordana lipstick is accessible at Cherry Culture for only $2.49.

Do you love saving money? I must say that if you can save more than $20 on a lipstick, you just cannot go wrong with Amuse Pink and Gold lipstick. The Amuse Pink and Gold lipstick is available at Cherry Culture for only $2. I own this great addition to Amuse in "Soft Baby Pink," which is a wonderful dupe for Mac's lipstick in Angel. You have to love discovering bargains.

I love saving money and sometimes I find that I discover a lot of wonderful things in my travels. One of those things is definitely Starry Diamond lipstick. As one of the best lipsticks of 2011 for under $5, the Starry Diamond lipstick remains one of the best makeup essentials. Starry Diamond lipstick is available at Cherry Culture for just $2.50, but is currently on sale for $1.99. Saving money is definitely a good feeling, but discovering a product that actually works great is even better.

Lipsticks are a beauty essential used to add color to the lips. If you love makeup, you can not only learn to love, but appreciate lipstick much more so, as a result. If you are looking for a fantastic lipstick for under $5, I definitely recommend L.A. Girl Precious Jewel lipstick. I own this lipstick in "Baby Doll," which is a bright pink shimmer pearl. The red lipstick shades are incredible and you can find a red lip that works for any skin tone. L.A. Girl Precious Jewel lipstick is available at Cherry Culture for $3. If you love saving money, I definitely recommend purchasing L.A. Girl Precious Jewel lipstick. The time is now to save. L.A. Girl Precious Jewel lipstick is easily one of the best lipsticks for under $5.

One of the things I love most about makeup is discovering new products, especially those best-kept secrets that are unbelievably inexpensive. One of those best-kept secrets is definitely Amuse Diamond lipstick. For only $2, this fantastic affordable lipstick definitely proves why it is one of the best of 2011. I own this lipstick in "Gold," which is a stunning bright gold, as well as "Doll," which is a beautiful, yet vibrant pink. You can purchase Amuse Diamond lipstick at Cherry Culture.

Life, liberty, and lipstick. The way the economy is going, anyone can afford to save a few bucks. If you are one of those people that wants to save money, I truly recommend Sinful Colors lipstick. The colors are flexible and vary from "Hocus Pocus," which is light beige shimmer to "Erotica," which is a bright, yet bold warm red to "Naughty Nature," which is a nice black. My favorite Sinful Colors lipstick shade is definitely "Buy Me Love," which is a gorgeous warm red coral shimmer. You can purchase Sinful Colors lipstick for just $4 at Cherry Culture. There is no time but now to purchase this lipstick today. You won't regret it.

People automatically assume that a makeup product is crap simply because it's cheap. This is definitely one of the biggest fallacies in makeup. Especially when it comes to L.A. Colors Matte lipstick. Available at Cherry Culture, L.A. Colors Matte lipstick proves why it is one of the best lipsticks of 2011 for under $5. "Red Tango," which is a bright red neutral matte is one of my favorite shades. You can purchase this product for just $2.50. Cherry Culture is currently having a sale and you can purchase this lipstick for just $1.49. If you are looking to save money, you just cannot lose without purchasing L.A. Colors Matte lipstick.

Saving money is one of the best things one can do, especially in the current state of the economy. If you are one who not only loves finding a bargain, but appreciates it much more so, look no further, because Jordana Matte lipstick can help. The lipstick color "Simply Natural" is my favorite shade and looks amazing for those wanting to rock a dark, smoky eye. You can purchase Jordana's Matte lipstick for just $2.49 at Cherry Culture. If this product is not in your beauty bag right now, it should be.

If you are a lipstick fanatic, you will definitely appreciate saving money, especially if you are a makeup artist or simply someone that takes pleasure in being a lipstick enthusiast. If you are looking to save money, you can't go wrong with L.A. Girl Luxury Crème Lip Color. I own this vastly underrated lipstick in "Endless Kisses," which is a bright yet light pink, and in "Fling," which is a neutral beige. If you haven't tried L.A. Girl Luxury Crème Lip Color, you are truly missing out. L.A. Girl Luxury Crème Lip Color is just $3 but is currently on sale for $2.75. You can purchase L.A. Girl Luxury Crème Lip Color at Cherry Culture. If you want to own a fine quality lipstick for under $5, you cannot go wrong with L.A. Girl's Luxury Crème Lip Color. You don't have to purchase expensive to discover something good and that is a wonderful thing.

Sometimes people automatically assume that if a lipstick is cheaper, that the quality pay-off is, as well. That can be the case, but it isn't with Wild and Crazy lipstick. If you are looking for a great lipstick for under $5, I definitely recommend this great addition to Wild and Crazy. I own this lipstick in "Golden Muffin," which is a very vibrant yet deep gold shade. Wild and Crazy lipstick is available at Cherry Culture for just $2. Get Wild! Get Crazy! Save Money!

Although quantity vs. quality is a factor in cosmetics, if you can save money, you can enjoy those things (in this case, lipsticks) that make you happy. Shopping for beauty on a budget should never be rocket science and luckily, it never has to be.

Proactiv, the Skincare with a Solution

Proactiv 3-step skincare system is a skincare system created by Dr. Katie Rodan and Dr. Kathy Fields to fight acne, as well as, change acne prone skin to acne free skin. The system includes three Proactiv products that work together to create amazing skin. Separated by steps, these products include: Step 1 - Revitalizing Cleanser, Step 2 - Revitalizing Toner, and Step 3 - Repairing Treatment.

In early 2010, I suffered from acne. Although it was stress related, it still managed to exist. If you have suffered from acne breakouts, you can get an idea of how depressing it can be. I was surfing the television trying to find something good on TV, when I came across QVC. They were selling the Proactiv products. After contemplating and debating whether or not to try Proactiv, I decided to cave in and purchase the two month supply for $41.

The two month supply includes about all of the products you will get in the 30 day supply, except the ounces are much bigger in ounce and in content. Plus, as a bonus you have the ability to try a 2.5 oz. Refining Mask.

PROS

The Revitalizing Cleanser (or Step 1) is more like a paste, rather than a cream. It goes on as a cream, but develops into a paste. It is more of an exfoliate rather than a cleanser, however; it possesses ingredients that are found in acne fighting skincare systems. I like this product because despite being relatively harsh, you can feel it work instantaneously and the more you use it, the more prone your skin becomes to using it. This product (or step) alone works phenomenal in clearing up acne breakouts. It is recommended that you use on a dime size amount and massage it into damp skin. Once you have rinsed off Step 1, you want to use Step 2.

The Revitalizing Toner (or Step 2) is a great toner. Although it does not possess natural ingredients, one thing you will love about this fantastic addition to Proactiv is that it contains natural ingredients such as Rose Bud Extract, Aloe Vera, and Chamomile Extract. I like this toner because it is not harsh and it still manages to control the skin's natural hydration. Using a cotton ball, you want to apply a small amount of toning product on your skin. It is recommended that you do not limit this product, as you should apply Step 2 in the morning and in the nighttime. When you continue with the Proactiv regime, you want to use Step 3.

The Repairing Treatment (or Step 3) is like a light medicated cream. I have to admit, this is one of my favorite acne treatments I have ever used. It does not dry out the skin. On a rather important note, Dimethicone, as well as, Cyclomethicone are common ingredients that are used in priming products. If you look at your favorite foundation primer, more than likely, you will see these ingredients listed. Maybe not together, but one of them will be listed. If you decide to cleanse your face using Step 1, Step 2, followed by Step 3, you can actually apply your makeup on top and Step 3 not only works as an acne fighter, it works as a primer. Cyclomethicone is non comedogenic, so it will not clog pores, as well as, cause acne. It allows skin to be moisturized and despite using chemicals that are notorious for drying skin out, Proactiv's Step 3 actually includes an array of ingredients that balance the skin, so your skin will become normalized. It is recommended that you only use a thin layer of Step 3 on dry, clean skin.

If you are an individual that prefers to purchase products that emphasize on domestic manufacturing, you will love Proactiv simply because their product is created and made in the United States.

CONS

Despite the repairing lotion being an amazing product, if you are someone with sensitive skin or skin that tends to suffer from allergic reactions, you may not find this particular product appealing. Step 3 includes an array of ingredients such as dimethicone and if you are allergic to this, you may not find this product likable.

Proactiv is a system combined that works together to create wonderful skin. If you use Step 1, without using Step 2 or Step 3 or you were to use just Step 3, but do not use Step 2 or Step 3 or you were to use only Step 1 and Step 3, but not Step 2, this product is not going to work properly.

If you are one who only purchases organic or natural cosmetics, you are not going to like Proactiv.

RATING - 93%

Proactiv varies upon system. You can try the product for 30 days (or 1 month) for just $19.95. If you decide you like it, you can purchase a 2 or 3 month supply for a little more. This product can change a life in a matter of weeks, let alone days. Proactiv is available on the official website, your nearest Proactiv retailer, or your nearest Proactiv store/kiosk. Overall, I believe the strengths of this product far exceed the weaknesses. Would I recommend this product? Yes. Would I use it again? Most definitely.

Persian Socialite Inspired Makeup Look

Salam. Hale shoma chetor ast? The Persian Empire was the ultimate heir of the Median Empire back in 500 BC. With a history that was once richer than the world's pocketbook, the Persian culture demonstrates why they are the epitome of eminence, panache, and refinement. Despite the Persian culture being quite ubiquitous in the world today making up for over 80 million of the world's overall population and demographic, Persians are considered a pan-national group.
When it comes to separating fact from fiction, there is no way to separate a socialite from a Persian because the two just balance effortlessly. If you attend an a-list party or a high-end revelry, more than likely you will see at least five Persian socialites at those events. Although one my say that it helps to have money when engaging in a socialite lifestyle, the reality is, you don't have to be filthy rich to be a socialite. In fact, by classification, a socialite is a person who participates in any event on a social level. By using their social skills, socialites develop instantaneous friendships with people of all ranks.

As a woman who is Persian who is often dubbed as a "socialite" (at least that is what my friends say), when it comes to creating this amazingly fantastic inspired makeup look, I have decided to emphasize on a striking look that is not only simple, but wearable just about anywhere you go. Whether you are attending a dinner party at a friend's house or you have a date with a potential Mr. Right or you want to go out to the club, you are destined to not only love the Persian Socialite Inspired Makeup look, but appreciate it, that much more so, as a result. Let's get started!

FACE

First and foremost, you want to begin the Persian Socialite Inspired Makeup look by priming your entire face. Because this look is relatively dramatic, you want to use a primer simply because you want your makeup to last a long time. Any primer will work, however; if you are interested in knowing a great foundation primer, one of my favorite foundation primers is definitely "Smashbox's Photo Finish Foundation Primer". You want to spread this evenly all over the face and let it set for about a minute.

As you continue, you want to apply your concealer, followed by your foundation. Although one may apply their foundation before their concealer, you can do this step anyway you want to do it. Using a cosmetic sponge, I am going to apply my concealer, followed by foundation. You can use a concealer brush, if a cosmetic sponge doesn't work for you.

For this look, I am going to use "Mac's Select Cover Concealer" (I am an NC42, however; if you want to find your shade, you want to get matched at your nearest Mac Cosmetics counter). For my foundation, I am going to use "Make Up For Ever's HD Invisible Cover Foundation" in 160 Golden Beige. You can use any foundation and if you do decide to use the one that I am using, make sure that you are matched appropriately at your nearest Make Up For Ever (commonly known as MUFE) retailer. Using a foundation brush, you want to apply your foundation all over your face.

As you continue, you want to take a cosmetic sponge and blend everything together. I am going to use a Beauty Blender (which is available at Sephora) because it works amazingly to blend. The Beauty Blender starts at about $20 and depending on what set you purchase, goes up in price. This is entirely optional, however; if you want an astonishing blending product, Beauty Blender is clearly the best.

Setting your makeup is definitely key to bringing this entire look together. As you proceed, you want to take a translucent powder and apply this all over the skin. If you are confused as to what a translucent powder would be, it is simply a powder that is visible, but possesses not individual shade, color, or pigment. This is frequently used to set finishes to create a powder finish that is natural looking. For this look, I am going to use one of my favorite setting powders "Laura Mercier's Smooth Focus Pressed Setting Powder".

If your skin is fair or medium, in order to achieve color, you will want to use a bronzer. Depending on your individual skin tone, as well as, skin type, you want to choose a shade, as well as, product that is right for you. You want to stay away from shimmers simply because for the Persian Socialite Inspired Makeup look, you are going to be using a stand-alone luminizer (or highlighter). Luminizers possess shimmer, so using a bronzer with shimmer would simply be too much. As Persians are all about contouring, the look really embraces strobing in addition to the bronze.

Now it is time to apply the luminizing product on your skin. There are several luminizing products in the beauty market today, however; you want to use one that is more on a gold wavelength, rather than pink wavelength. For the Persian Socialite Inspired Makeup look, I am going to use "Mac's Iridescent Loose Powder" in Golden Bronze". Using a regular fluff brush, as you resume, you want to apply the luminizer generously all over your face.

The cheeks should be gold, with a hint of pink meets peach. For this inspired makeup look, I am going to use two blushes. One in cream form, followed by one with a powder finish. The gold shade should be cream based, rather than powder based. For my gold shade, I am going to use "NARS Cream Blush" in Gold Member. Gold Member is a gorgeous and very pigmented striking gold. Using a cosmetic sponge, you want to apply your Gold Member (or your gold shade) on your cheeks, followed by your chin, your nose, and forehead. The pink meets peach shade should be in powder form. For my blush, I have chosen to use "NARS Blush" in Orgasm which is a stunning peachy pink shade with shimmer. Using a blush brush, I am going to apply this on the apples of my cheeks, brushing the excess slightly all over my face.

EYES

The Persian Socialite Inspired Makeup look is primarily made up of gold shades, making it a look that is imaginative and unparalleled. You want to begin by priming your eyes. For this look, I am going to be using "Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion" in Greed. Greed is a shimmering gold eye shadow primer. If you know anything about Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion, you will know that it is one of the best eye shadow primers in the beauty market.

What I love about this inspired look is the fact that it is wearable, yet powerful and daring. For this inspired look, I am going to use two primary eye shadow shades, followed by a highlight. The first shade should be a pigmented gold shade that has more of a pearl finish. The second shade should be a dark matte brown. The highlight should be a shimmery pale gold shade.

Representing the Persian Socialite Inspired Makeup look, I am going to use "NYX's Ultra Pearl Mania Pigment" in Yellow. Yellow is more of a bright gold than it is a yellow. Using an eye shadow brush, you want to take that gold pearl shade and apply it all over the lid, going past the crease. You don't want to take this shade into the brow bone, as that will be for the highlight shade.

As you continue, you want to take an angled eye shadow brush and apply the darkest shade on the outer corners of your lids. For this look, I am going to use "Lancome's Color Design Eye Shadow" in Couture. You don't want to apply this all over the lid. You want to blend this out (also known as "smoke"). Then, using a crease brush, you want to take this shade and apply it into the crease. You can also add a little bit of this shade on the bottom part of your eye, just make sure it doesn't look sloppy.

Finally, to complete the eye shadow part of the Persian Socialite Inspired Makeup look, you want to apply your highlight. Remember that the highlight shade should be a very pale, yet pigmented gold. For the highlight, I am going to use "Mac's Eye Shadow" in Nylon.

When it comes to wearing liner, you want something dramatic. For this look, I am going to refrain from using black simply because the goal is to be dramatic, yet wearable. The liner should be a dark brown, almost black. For today's look, I am going to use "Bobbi Brown's Long-Wear Gel Liner" in Caviar Ink. You want to use this eyeliner product on the top part of the lid and the bottom. Then, using a regular pencil liner, you want to connect the sides to form a v, which will create a cat eye appearance.

Your eyebrows should look dramatic in color, but should also be natural looking. You don't want to use a pencil, let alone a retractable pen for this look, however; you can use a cream or gel base, as long as it is natural and waterproof. For this look, I am going to use "Illamasqua's Eye Brow Cake" in Vehement. Keep in mind that not everyone has the same color brows, so you want to use the shade that works right for you.

Although mascara primer is optional, I am going to use it before I apply my mascara simply because I want my mascara to last longer. Nothing is worse than mascara smearing all over the place, making a mess. You know what I mean? For this look, I am going to be using "Sephora's Tricks Of The Trade Perfecting Lash Primer". If you decide to use a lash primer, you want to let the lash primer set for about a minute.

The mascara definitely plays a very important role to making this look come together. For this Persian inspired makeup look, you are definitely going to want to use a modest amount of it. You are also going to want to use black. For the Persian Inspired Makeup look, I am going to use "Dior's Diorshow Iconic Mascara" in Noir.

I don't use false eyelashes. In fact, as sad it is admit, I have never wore them ever, let alone tried to apply them. As I am uncertain on how to wear them, I would never object to wearing them. Remember, wearing false eyelashes are optional. If you are a woman that suffers from minimal to sparse eyelashes, I do recommend them. If you do use false eyelashes, just remember to apply mascara over top of them so they look more natural than faux.

LIPS

The lips should be pink, yet nude. You want the lips to be instinctive, nevertheless visible. You want to begin by lining the lips with a nude lip liner. This can be any nude lip liner. I am going to use "Make Up For Ever's Aqua Waterproof Lipliner Pencil" in Nude Beige 1C. Remember, you want to draw attention to your eyes more so than your lips.

Because the lips should be pink, yet nude you want a lipstick that is matte followed by a gloss. For the Persian Socialite Inspired Makeup look, I am going to use "Mac's Lipstick" in Kinda Sexy. As you continue, you want to apply a golden pink pearl gloss. For this inspired look, I am going to use "Mac's Lustreglass" in Pinkarat. There are many dupes for this shade, so you don't have to use this particular product. This is just what I am using to create the Persian Socialite Inspired Makeup look.

The Persian Socialite Inspired Makeup look is complete. If you want your makeup to last even longer, you can use a makeup spray medium. My favorite is definitely Mac's Fix+ however; there are so many on the market today that work great (Make Up For Ever, Urban Decay, Kat Von D, etc) Whether you are African American, Caucasian, African, Australian, Hispanic, European, or Asian, you are destined to be apart of the Persian persuasion. Omidvaram rooze khoobi dashte bashid. I hope you enjoyed the look. Falan khodahafez!

Silk'n SensEpil, the Best Kept Hair Removing Secret

The Silk'n SensEpil is a laser hair removing product developed by Silk'n. This remarkable laser hair removing device relies on Home Pulsed Light (or HPL) and guarantees that you will receive the same long-term benefits you will receive in physician's office, for the fraction of the cost.

When shopping at Sephora recently, I had the opportunity to discover the Silk'n SensEpil hair removing system. After questioning the idea that a laser hair removing medium can actually subsist on the shelf, I felt reluctant that such an idea even existed. So I decided to cave in and try the product.

The Silk'n SensEpil not only includes the Silk'n SensEpil device, but it also includes a lamp cartridge (with 750 pulses), a power cord, an instructional DVD, and quick start guide/user's manual. The lamp cartridge works as a filter for this product and it is fairly easy to change. The lamp cartridge is also quite expendable, which allows a life span of hair removing treatments. It is disposable, making the Silk'n SensEpil hair removing system that much easier to use. The power cord lets you use this product anywhere, without worrying about batteries. The instructional DVD, as well as, the quick start guide/user's manual is very informative, making it really simple to use the Silk'n SensEpil.

PROS

When it comes to purchasing any hair removing system, I always feel that the best hair removing systems are convenient. The Silk'n SensEpil is a portable, yet handy hair removing device. You can take it anywhere. This hair removing system is also relatively easy to use, making the overall application unproblematic.

There is nothing better than loving the skin you are in. The Silk'n SensEpil was created for every skin type.

You can set the level of this product. There are a total of 5 levels. For instance, when you first use this product you will want to use level 1 to test your reaction to the product. If you are skeptical, you want to start out using level 1. If you want to use this product on those sensitive areas, I recommend using a lighter level. Whether level 1 or level 3. I used level 1 first, but increased depending on the area I wanted to target. My bikini area, I would use level 3, whereas; on my legs, I would use level 5. This varies upon individual.

Pain is should never always be apart of the game. I love the Silk'n SensEpil, you experience moderate pain at best. I honestly didn't experience any, however; everyone is different. Definitely not as painful as most hair removing systems, as well as, professional laser treatments.

If you are someone who trusts FDA approved products, you will not only love the Silk'n SensEpil, but appreciate it, much more so, as a result. The Silk'n SensEpil has been approved by the FDA.

This product is discreet. If you go to the salon and have an array of women staring at you, with the Silk'n SensEpil, you will not have that. You can use this product anywhere.

CONS

If you are one who is expecting instantaneous results, you may not find the Silk'n SensEpil device appealing. Results are not visible until after at least two to four uses, minimum and vary upon person.

Like most Home Pulsed Light (HPL) hair removing systems, the Silk'n SensEpil is not suitable for naturally dark skin tones. My skin is naturally tan (I am an NC42, if that says anything) and I had no issues with this product, however; I am well aware that others are different. I would recommend doing a test at level 1 before using this product, long-term. The Silk'n SensEpil has a pigment detector that actually shuts down if the skin is too dark.

The Silk'n SensEpil and the sun do not mix. In fact, if you go tanning or are in the sun often, it is not recommended that you use the Silk'n SensEpil hair removing device.

Because this product is an electrical device, it is recommended that you do not use the Silk'n SensEpil device in or near water.

RATING - 93.5%

You can purchase the Silk'n SensEpil at Sephora for $499. You can purchase additional lamp cartridges for the Silk'n SensEpil for just $50. Would I recommend Silk'n SensEpil? Absolutely.

A Look at the Best Orange Matte Lipsticks of 2011

When one thinks of an orange matte lipstick, the first thing one may assume is "too bright" or "too audacious" or "too artificial", however; that is not always the circumstances. In fact, in many cases, this is not. Orange matte lipstick is used as a visible pigment to your lips. It is also used to produce a glamour that works well with an individual's cinco and is used to create a look that simply works for those looking to achieve orange lips with minimal to no effort.

Orange matte lipstick is not only used as a very vibrant, yet visible color to your lips, it is used for those women with problematic under-eye circles that want to cover them. If you are a woman that suffers from under-eye circles, you can apply orange matte lipstick to the dark pigmented color to your eyes, followed by your favorite concealer. This works as a base that rescinds the dark pigmented under-eye color and works as a base to change the shade.

Orange matte lipstick may not be your guilty pleasure, however; as they say, one's garbage is another's treasure. One thing is certain, there are numerous orange matte lipsticks in the beauty world today, so today, I am going to separate the good from the bad and take a look at the best orange matte lipsticks of 2011.

When it comes to any kind of lip product, Make Up For Ever (commonly known as MUFE) rarely fails to disappoint. One of the best orange matte lipsticks is definitely "Nasturtium 405" which is a bright, natural orange matte shade. If you look at the definition of "Nasturtium" you will recognize it is an edible flower that comes in an array of colors. If you have ever seen the orange Nasturtium flower, you will get an idea of the color that inspired this shade. Available at Sephora, you can own Make Up For Ever's orange lipstick "Nasturtium 405" for just $19. If you are looking for one of the best orange matte lipsticks, I truly recommend this one.

Every now and then, the best reserved enigmas come from the newest entities. In the case of orange matte lipstick, this definitely occurs and does so instantaneously with Illamasqua cosmetics. If you are seeking a bright orange tangerine matte shade, I truly recommend Illamasqua's lipstick in "Blaze". Blaze is a very vivid and intense, yet supremely evident orange tangerine matte. If you want something a little more redder, than I recommend "Ignite" which is a very dramatic, yet bright reddish orange matte. Illamasqua lipsticks can be found at Sephora or your nearest Illamasqua retailer. Despite Illamasqua's low level of seniority, it is a well known fact that they create some of the best beauty products in the world today and of course, some of the best orange matte lipsticks.

Searching for an excellent orange matte lipstick should never be tricky. In fact, although it can be a little time consuming, it should never make you think to the point that you drive yourself crazy. If you are searching for a very bright, yet natural looking orange matte, I truly recommend Givenchy's Rouge Interdit Satin lipstick in "14 Fruity Orange". When you look at the sky around 5 or 6 pm and you see that gorgeous orange shade in the sky during sunset. This is exactly what 14 Fruity Orange looks like. Givenchy's lip products are incredibly hydrating, but also pigmented and long-lasting. You can purchase Givenchy's Rouge Interdit lipstick at Sephora for $28. This is truly one of the best orange matte lipsticks of 2011 for a reason.

Guerlain is a high-end cosmetic company that represents prestige and cache. More than likely, you can find any makeup product within this brand, including orange matte lipstick. If you are looking for an orange matte lipstick that is deep, yet bright and quite vivid, I recommend Guerlain's Rouge G de Guerlain Jewel lipstick in "Gipsy 41". Although Gipsy 41 is described as a deep tangerine, it is a bright, yet bold orange matte. Guerlain's Jewel lipsticks retail for about $46.

Another reason to love Guerlain is the fact that there are other orange matte shades within the Guerlain line. Guerlain's Kiss Kiss lipstick in "Peche Fougueuse 541" is a stunning golden red orange matte. If you are looking for an orange matte that is on more of a cool wavelength, that possesses red undertones, you are going to love this. Available at Sephora for $31, this terrific addition to Guerlain undeniably confirms why it is one of the best orange matte lipsticks of 2011. Guerlain may possess only the hottest, yet hautest packaging, but what makes Guerlain extremely brilliant is the fact that never fail to disappoint.

Whether you are someone that wants to wear orange matte lipstick because it simply goes with your favorite ensemble or whether you are someone who wants to wear orange matte lipstick simply because it looks great on you, you can't ever go wrong with Stila Longwear Lip Color in "Outrageous" which is an is a intense orange matte shade. Stila's lip products are notorious for being intrepid, yet abiding and moisturizing. You can purchase Stila's Longwear Lip Color at Sephora for just $20. Some of the beauty industry's best kept secrets revolve around some of the best high-end products.

If you are looking for an orange red matte lipstick, I truly recommend Kat Von D's Painted Love lipstick in "Stiletto" which is a very bold, yet dazzling orange red matte. You can find this product at Sephora for $18. Kat Von D is more than just a reality star that is good at tattoos. It is a well known fact that Kat Von D is a beauty icon and everything she does starts from wild and scandalous and goes up to crazy and outrageous. You either love her or hate her, but in the end you can appreciate her. One thing is certain, however; you will garner a love for her cosmetics.

What about a lipstick that is under $10? Believe or not, they do exist. In fact, if you are looking for a simple, yet visible bright orange matte shade for under $10, I truly recommend NYX's Black Label lipstick in "Citrine". For just $7.50, this fantastic addition proves why it is one of the best orange matte lipsticks for 2011. Sometimes this lipstick is on sale, depending where you shop for it. I know that Cherry Culture is always having sales on NYX cosmetics. NYX cosmetics may be affordable, but don't let that fool you. Despite being cheaper than a vast majority of high-end cosmetics, NYX definitely verifies why they are apart of the competition.

You don't have to be daring or spontaneous nor do you have to be wanting a lipstick that is overly outrageous to wear orange matte lipstick.

Hair Product Reviews: Rita Hazan's Root Concealer

Some of the greatest products (especially hair products) I have ever tried are those products that you come across unexpectedly. Rita Hazan is known for creating products that are reliably of the sort. Rita Hazan is a perfectionist when it comes to color and that is one of things you have admire about her. If you ever have the opportunity to visit her salon on 720 5th Avenue in the heart of the big apple, you will definitely understand why.

Recently when shopping at internationally known beauty boutique Sephora, I had the great pleasure of discovering Rita Hazan's Root Concealer. This product comes in a 1 oz. aerosol spray bottle. After reading it's marketing promise of delivering temporary results that are effective, as a result of a quick, yet instinctive mend, I was modestly impressed and purchased the product right away. I am notorious for coloring my hair often and in 2010 alone, I was a blonde, a redhead, and a brunette, not to mention my hair was also black.

PROS

What I love most about Rita Hazan's Root Concealer is the fact that is dries quickly. If you are looking for a temperamental, swift fix, you are destined to not only love this product, but appreciate it that much more so, as a result. Within seconds, you will notice a difference that appears instantaneously.

Another reason to love Rita Hazan's Root Concealer is the fact that it is relatively long-lasting, as it stays put until you shampoo it out. It is not only water resistant, but sweat proof too, so it does not fade, crease, nor stain anything.

The Rita Hazan Root Concealer comes in an array of different colors. In fact, there are a total of four different shades. Blonde, Red, Light Brown, and Brown/Black. These shades work relatively well for individual hair shades.

What made me so impressed with this phenomenal addition to Rita Hazan is the fact that it is natural. Not only is the Root Concealer free of parabens and sulfates, this incredibly underrated hair necessity is free of synthetic dyes, synthetic fragrances, petrochemicals, phthalates, GMOs, and triclosan.

CONS

It is a well known fact that despite possessing four individual shades, this fantastic product is not 100% universal. If you are a woman/man who has several tones of highlights in your hair, I would not recommend this product. Although it is temporary, it doesn't work well with those who have highlighted hair.

If you are looking for permanent results, then I would not recommend Rita Hazan's Root Concealer. This product serves as an impermanent fix that is only temporary.

For as brilliant as this hair product is, if you are looking to save money and don't want to spend over $20 for 1 oz. of hair product, you may not find the Root Concealer engaging, let alone worth the price.

RATING - 94.5%

You can purchase Rita Hazan's Root Concealer at Sephora for only $24. Would I recommend this product to anyone? Yes. Would I purchase this product again? Absolutely.

A look at the Best Orange Shimmer Lipsticks of 2011

Orange shimmer lipsticks allow you to enjoy the look of orange lips without the dramatic appearance of orange lips. If you are searching for a pigmented orange lipstick shade that is more subtle, rather than striking, you should definitely have an orange shimmer lipstick in your beauty stash. There are numerous orange shimmer lipsticks in the beauty market today, however; there are only a few that remain to be the best. I have decided to take a lot at the best orange shimmer lipsticks of 2011.

One thing that I have discovered is that Mac Cosmetics rarely fail to disappoint, especially when it comes to their lip products. I have used Mac Cosmetics for many years, as I still continue to use them. One of my favorite orange frost lipsticks is definitely Mac Cosmetics lipstick in "CB 96". CB 96 is a bright pink orange pearl. If you know anything about what makes a quality, high-end lipstick, you will know that if a lipstick is fairly pigmented, hydrating, as well as, long-lasting and provides you with benefits, you will have your product. You can purchase Mac Cosmetics lipstick for $14.50 at the official website or your nearest Mac counter. This lipstick shade looks fantastic on everyone, I swear.

Orange shimmer lipsticks are nice because if you are looking for an orange lipstick, but you don't want your lips to look relatively dramatic and intense, you can appreciate them for what they are. I have to admit, I always appreciate Guerlain for not only their fine packaging in the makeup industry, but the fact that they deliver some of the best makeup products in the world today. Orange shimmer lipsticks are more of rarity, than a popularity, but there are still many that exist. In fact, one of my favorites is definitely Guerlain Kiss Kiss Strass lipstick in "Orange Sequin 342" which is a burnt orange shimmer. You can purchase this fantastic addition to Guerlain at Sephora or your nearest Guerlain retailer for $31. Guerlain never stops working.

If you have ever noticed, most makeup artists that turn into beauty moguls know what most women want. I have to admit, when I first discovered Bobbi Brown, I was a bit skeptical, until I tried her products. She truly knows what women want, making her a beauty icon. One of the best orange shimmer lipsticks of 2011 is definitely Bobbi Brown lipstick in "Orange". Orange is a vibrant semi-matte orange. The shimmer is subtle, but reasonably visible. Bobbi Brown lip products tend to be very moisturizing, yet pigmented and long-lasting. You can purchase this fine lipstick for $22 at Sephora or your nearest Bobbi Brown counter.

When I visited Sephora at the Tyson's Corner Mall in McLean, VA I had the opportunity to discover one of the most beautiful orange shimmer lipsticks I have ever seen. That beautiful lipstick is Dior Rouge Dior Lip Color in "Rare Amber 526" which is a muted reddish orange shimmer. Although the red is visible, the lipstick is more orange than it is red. If you are looking for a stunning orange shimmer, you are destined to love this one. For just $30, you can own this lipstick today. Although this is not fully orange, it is still one of the best orange shimmer lipsticks of 2011.

I have to admit, Make Up For Ever (commonly known as MUFE) rarely fails to disappoint me. Most recently I discovered, when visiting Sephora at Boise, ID that you can find numerous products that are considered uncommon finds within this terrific makeup line. One of those uncommon finds is definitely orange shimmer lipstick. One of the greatest orange shimmer lipsticks is definitely Make Up For Ever lipstick in "Golden Orange 406" which is a transparent, yet very light sheer orange shimmer. For just $19, you can purchase Make Up For Ever's lipstick at Sephora or your nearest Make Up For Ever retailer. I love Make Up For Ever!

Sometimes finding an amazing product can get pricey to the vast majority of status quo. If you are looking to save money, you will definitely appreciate NYX cosmetics. One of the greatest orange shimmer lipsticks of 2011 is definitely NYX lipstick in "Orange Soda". Orange Soda is a pale orange shimmer. For only $4, you can own Orange Soda right now. If you are looking to save money, but also use a product that is highly effective, I truly recommend choosing NYX. You just cannot go wrong.

I always find myself searching for makeup products that others mention they want, but have a hard time finding. One of those makeup products that I have had the opportunity to encounter is definitely Kat Von D Painted Love lipstick in "Coral Castle" which is a coral orange shimmer. Kat Von D has created a lot of dramatic products, however; this orange shimmer lipstick is one of her most faint shades. Kat Von D Painted Love lipstick is just $18 and is available at Sephora. Kat Von D definitely has more going for her than tattoos.

Although orange lipsticks are not for everyone, there are always orange shimmer lipsticks in the beauty world that work for just about every woman around. You don't have to be spontaneous wearing an orange frost lipstick, just wear it.

Skin Care Product Reviews: Dr. Brandt Detoxygen Experience

Dr. Brandt skin care was created by word renowned dermatologist Frederic Brandt. With clients that consist of modern royalty and the affluent, Dr. Brandt has made it his responsibility in life to bring you only the best of high end skin care.

Most recently Dr. Brandt created a product called "Dr. Brandt Detoxygen Experience" which is a 2-step system that is guaranteed to deliver a fresh, yet nourishing and clean complexion. Whether brightening or tightening, this product is assured to fix those difficult, yet problematic areas. The Detoxygen Experience includes one, 1.7 oz. Oxygenating Facial, as well as, one, 1 oz. Detoxifying Crème Concentrate.

PROS

If you are one that suffers from a dull complexion, I truly recommend the Dr. Brandt's Detoxygen Experience. Not only will this 2-step system leave your skin extremely hydrated, but you will notice that your skin looks luminous afterwards. When Dr. Brandt promised bright skin, he was not kidding. Also, the more you use this product, you will notice a lot of permanent changes, as your skin's "dull factor" will slowly decrease.

When it comes to appreciating a product, there are several factors that come into play. One of them is individual skin type. If you have semi dry skin, combination-dry skin, combination skin, combination-normal skin, normal skin, combination-oily skin, or semi oily skin you are going to love Dr. Brandt's 2 step system, Detoxygen Experience. If you have sensitive skin, you are going to also love this product. This is also good for those with acne-prone skin.

If you are an individual that does not want to put chemicals on your skin, despite the fact that a vast majority are scientifically safe, I truly recommend this product. The Detoxygen Experience is free of not only parabens, but this wonderful addition to Dr. Brandt skin care is free of sulfates, petrochemicals, GMOs, triclosan, and synthetic chemicals (fragrances, dyes, etc). If you are looking to use something high-end, yet natural, this product is for you.

CONS

If you have extremely dry skin, I do not recommend this product. This product guarantees a pure, yet healthy and clarified complexion, however; when they products work together, they create a base that is used to normalize the skin, getting rid of dullness only. If you are looking for a product that can be used as a radical moisturizer, this is not it.

Although I believe that this skin care product would be great for those that suffer from oily skin, if you have very oily skin to the point that it is problematic, Dr. Brandt's Detoxygen Experience is not right for you. Even though you can feel a tightening sensation on your skin that notoriously balancing, it tends to normalize the skin. This can help those with oily skin, but if your skin is extremely oily, this skin care regime is not right for you.

If you are not looking to spend over $70 for a 2-step system that consists of 1.7 oz. and 1 oz. you are not going to find Dr. Brandt's Detoxygen Experience appealing.

RATING - 84.4%

Overall, I was impressed with the Detoxygen Experience, but despite this, I did not find it excellent. Although the "Pros" managed to exceed the "Cons", there were several cons in this product that are not explicable. Would I purchase this product again? There is a distinct possibility, but not at the present time.
