Happy Thanksgiving

Can you believe it's finally here? I hope you are prepared to enjoy this wonderful time with family, friends, and other loved ones. I don't know about you, but although it is only 8 am here, I am looking forward to this day. I am currently in the kitchen making an array of dishes with my mom. We are reminiscing about life and how without struggle, there is no progress (thank you Frederick Douglas).

I have come to realization that no matter how bad life gets for someone, it will only get worse if you believe it will, as it will only get better if you know it will. There is a difference between believing and knowing. I believe my life is getting better, but I know that it is amazing. And it is for that reason, I am thankful for everything. Life has a gift, it is called the present and it only gets better.
 Happy Thanksgiving!

Black Friday & Cyber Monday 2015: Clarisonic

I remember a few years ago when I suffered from acne. It was one of the worst kinds and it was not pretty. In fact, it was damaging to me physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally. I tried numerous products and most of them failed until I discovered the Clarisonic...

Mia 2. Not only does this device work to treat and correct my skin, it helps with preventing such problems from happening again. My skin is also softer and a lot more radiant since using the Mia 2. Interview with Celebrity Personal Trainer Ashley Borden

Celebrity Personal Trainer Ashley Borden.
Located in the heart of West Hollywood, renowned celebrity fitness trainer Ashley Borden is making waves and a huge splash in the fitness world. With clients such as Christina Aguilera, NY Yankee Nick Swisher, Mandy Moore, Natasha Bedingfield, UFC Fighter Matt Hughes, and Ryan Gosling, this amazingly inspiring fitness guru has been featured on the Today Show, Discovery Health, E!, VH1, MTV, the Tyra Banks Show, and on Rachel Ray and in numerous publications such as Vogue, Elle, Allure, Shape, In Style, and the Los Angeles Times. She is also an advisor for and Fitness magazine. Borden was also the fitness director for Matt Hughes' Fitness DVD.

Training for over 20 years with over 30,000 hours of personal training under her belt, Ashley Borden is one of the biggest celebrity personal trainers in the world today. In fact, Women's Health named Borden a top "Body Transformer" in 2011, one of only six trainers in the country. The Huffington Post recently declared her one of the top 20 fitness experts worth following on Twitter. She also released not one, but two training DVDs. Recently, I had the opportunity to talk to Ashley about life and fitness.

There is always someone or something that motivates a person to be passionate about something. When I asked Ashley what motivated or influenced her to become involved in the fitness industry, she said "My recovery from my eating disorder. It motivated me (when I first started out). Seeing how many needed to find a balance between training and living. Years later, after experiencing my own physical recovery from an injury, I re-learned a solid foundation of movement patters and muscle releases. My own physical re-education opened my eyes to how many people truly are disconnected from their bodies, both in and out of the gym. I had a new mission in life -- to help as many people, both men and women, as possible."

As one of the best personal trainers on the planet, Ashley is busy, so I asked her to take me through an ordinary day. " I walk my dogs multiple times a day (my two are both rescued), I train at least 5 hours of clients, I train myself once day, sometimes twice a day depending on my schedule, and the workout I did the day before, I answer a million emails, tweet, answer all questions on my Facebook page, YouTube Channel, and Livestrong Woman channel, and schedule my clients. I'm in bed around 11 pm and up at 7 am. My day never stops!"

It seems like there is always some sort of mistake when working out. When I asked Ashley what she thought to be the biggest mistake women make when they attempt to lose weight, she told me - "they avoid lifting heavy weights." When I asked her what her pet-peeves were, she said - "Women that ask me "is lifting weights going to make me bulky?" -- That and people who complain about being out of shape who do absolutely nothing about it."

Originality is key, but it is innovation that turns a great personal trainer into an amazing personal trainer. Ashley is amazing for several reasons, but she is known for her creativity in the gym. When I asked her about an original workout that she created, that has proved be effective, she told me - "Rolling Out." I don't know about you, but I am definitely going to try it.

The holidays are approaching and although they tend to be one of the hardest times of the year to start any kind of diet or exercise regime, according to Ashley it is possible to incorporate the two. " Yes! I have never understood the concept of gorging yourself just because it's a holiday. Look at it as a normal meal if you feel like you are out of control, and don't skip meals that day to "make up" for the extra calories you are planning on stuffing yourself with! Eat your normal meals and be sure to break a sweat for at least 20 minutes the day of your holiday feast. You will feel more inclined to make smarter choices and not overeat."

The holidays are surely one of the biggest times of the year. When I asked Ashley if she had any advice for those looking to diet during the holidays, she mentioned - "Don't look at the holidays as a "special" out of control binge food day. Just treat is as another meal where you have more indulgence than normal. Workout more intensely the next 2 days after your holiday meals and you will be back on track no problem."

I asked Ashley to walk me through her skin care regime. She mentions that she starts off by washing her face with a sensitive skin cleanser followed by a sensitive skin face cream. "I wash with a sensitive skin cleanser and use a sensitive skin face cream and under eye cream religiously. I never go to bed without washing my face. I have been putting cream on my body after every shower since I was 14 years old. I always use sunscreen on my face and chest, and keep a scarf in the car to wrap around my neck to protect from sun!" When I asked Ashley about her favorite beauty products and essentials, she told me - "Kai body butter, and Tinted Solar Protection Formula Tizo3 SPF 40."

Aside from health and fitness, Ashley loves animals. In fact, she supports the animal rescue often. She also supports animal fostering and adoption. She is 100% against breeding cats and dogs.

Borden is also a successful author, having co-wrote the book "Your Perfect Fit" with denim designer Paige Adams-Geller (of Paige Denim) in 2008. Her goal is to continue spreading great information that is not only useful, but effective that will benefit everyone.

Picking up his first makeup brush in 1985, Troy has been around the world and back, but calls LA is his home. He also says that New York City is one of his favorite places, stating that it has a lot to offer.

Inspired by the work of photographer Francesco Scavullo, makeup artist Way Brandy, and their Cosmopolitan magazine covers from the 70s, Troy knew in his heart that he was passionate about makeup. "I drew everyone as a teen." Troy also finds himself heavily inspired by pop culture which includes the TV shows Charlie's Angels and the old Hollywood Black & White movies. "Anything with Marlene Dietrich and Sophia Loren."

When it comes to producing beauty, there is a lot that comes to play. According to Troy "So much goes into the production of each shoot and when I shoot or glam my celebrity clients for a magazine cover, it is shot months before the magazines hit the stands." Some of Troy's clients include: Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, Elle MacPherson, Bjork, Courtney Love, Farrah Fawcett, Catherine Deneuve, En Vogue, and aspiring starlets like Hana Mae Lee and his girlfriend, Tracy Magill. "When the magazines hit the stands, it's always a surprise. I get very excited at the grocery store."

To create beauty, one must choose their beauty brands wisely. When I asked Troy about the makeup brands he used the most, he told me "Estee Lauder, Clinique, Dior, Chanel, and Yves Saint Laurent are my treasures. Benefit, Jouer, Girlactik Beauty, Three Custom Color, Susan Posnick, and Revlon are my must-haves."

I asked Troy out of the many inspired makeup looks, which one seems to be the one he did the most often. He told me "The Troy Jensen Smoky Flair" which consists of a soft winged tipped eye, that's smudgy, smoky, and most importantly, super sexy. When I asked if anyone can achieve this look, he replied "It's very easy to do. In fact, anyone can do it. Simply draw a line along the upper lash line, extending it upward at the outer edges with a black or deep brown eye pencil. Smudge it with a Q-Tip. Then, using a damp eye shadow brush, dip the damp brush in a black or brown eye shadow and blend it right over the liner." Troy insists that it is easy. "Once you are done, top it off with mascara. You've just created my smoky flair."

Kim Kardashian.

Makeup and memories go together just like coffee and mornings. When I asked Troy about his most memorable experience, he said "The first I was asked to glam a celebrity. It was by Farrah Fawcett. I brought a small bag of Revlon products and after the shoot, I over-heard the photographer on the phone compliment me." When I asked Troy about what the photographer said to whoever was on the other line, Troy exclaimed "I just worked with this kid from Orange County and he is a genius." This was the start of an everlasting career in makeup.

Aside from makeup, Troy told me that he loves art, photography, music and his girlfriend Tracey. "She is my muse. I love to glam and photographer her." Please check out our collaborations on her website at . Troy loves all kinds of music, but states that Florence and the Machine's "You've Got the Love" to be his soundtrack song at the moment.

Troy is currently the global color artist for, where he features his favorite trends and beauty tips. He is represented by the Celestine Agency and Current Studio LA.

When asked about his future plans, Troy said "To work at what I love, makeup and photography and to live a peaceful, healthy, and happy life with the people I love."

Interview with Celebrity Personal Trainer Michael George

Celebrity Personal Trainer Michael George
Located in the heart of Marina Del Rey, California lies one of the most prestigious, celebrity personal trainers on the planet, Michael George. Not only is he a personal trainer, but he is the president of his own company, a lifestyle transformation coach, a motivational speaker, and an author.

So what motivated this man to become one of California's top personal trainers? When I asked Michael about what influenced him, he told me - "I was a chubby, overweight child growing up. I sent away for a Charles Atlas weight training program when I was 17. I changed my entire physique and life in the process. I became a star athlete, raised my self-esteem, and went from introverted to extroverted and literally became the person God intended me to be."

He continued - "That transformational experience propelled me into my career today." He went on to tell me his passion is to help as many people as possible to achieve healthy lifestyle. - "My passion is to help as many people as possible achieve healthy lifestyle transformation in my lifetime."

Although there is no average day for Michael, he did give me an idea of what a busy day is like for him. "Up at 5 am, meditation, conduct email business with the east coast/international, go to the Montage Beverly Hills to work with 3 to 4 clients, with a quick photo shoot for a TV show or magazine, weight workout, and then back to the office where I spend a big part of my day conducting business or I am in business meetings. I will take a Yoga class, do heavy bag work, or run/stretch for an hour. Then, I will do quiet, creative work in my office followed by a possible dinner meeting and of course, homework for my Depth Psychology PhD program." Michael is in bed by 11:30 pm, so he can begin the next day.

Are there really exercises out there that are the most effective for different areas of the body? According to Michael, there are. For the lower body, he suggests that doing squats, lunges, martial arts stances and kicks. He also says that functional 1 leg exercises are effective. For the gluts, he says that doing glut kickbacks and slow sidekicks work the best.

For the upper body, there are several exercises that work for different areas of the body. Michael says that for the chest, push-ups and the bench press work the best. For the shoulders, the shoulder press is the most effective. For the back, lats work well, as well as, pull-ups. For the triceps, bar dips work the best and for the biceps, bicep curls work wonders. For the abs, Michael likes to use the Bosu ball.

When I asked Michael what his favorite exercise was to do and how it can benefit everyone, he told me - "I love boxing and jump rope, as it strengthens, tones, and sculpts the entire body. It is also a great cardio workout."

Innovation is only part of this man's physical genius. When I asked him if he had an exercise that he invented, he told me - "George's works upper abs and obliques. I lie on my back with my right knee bent and my left leg extended. With 1 inch off the ground and my left hand behind my head for neck support, I take my right hand across my waist. Then, I bring my elbows to my right knee and repeat." He continued - "I do 2 sets of 25 reps on each side just 3 times per week."

Michael George
When I asked Michael about his diet, he told me - "I eat a very healthy diet. Primarily organic. It is very much a zone philosophy and I stick to the 85% rule every single day of the year. Weight management is not even on the radar because of it. Eating healthy needs to become like brushing your teeth. You don't think about it, you just do it."

With the holidays approaching us, I asked Michael what tips he had for those looking to shed those extra holiday pounds. He said "Start with baby steps, but be consistent. You need to clean up your diet and do cardio, as well as, strength activity all at the same time for a balanced program. If your program is not balanced, you will not succeed."

So, is it possible to incorporate exercise and a healthy diet during the holidays? When I asked Michael, he told said "The best I can see is not to view the holiday season, as a holiday season. Every day is just another day and you will have 60 and 70 holiday seasons to overeat. Just don't indulge this holiday season. Be responsible for everything you choose to put in your mouth. Stick to eating healthy 85% of the time rule, no matter what. No matter what!"

Michael has worked with some of the most popular celebrities on the planet. Some of them include: Tobey Maguire, Nick Cannon, Reese Whitherspoon, Matt Dillon, Dennis Quaid, Meg Ryan, James Spader, Jim Wiatt, Shawn Ashmore, Liev Schreiber, Slash, and more.

"Consistent exercise is not just about looking better, it's about feeling better! If you are consistent in your efforts to feel better, the bi-product is you will look better!" - Michael George

Top 10 Perfumes of 2012

10. La Vie Est Belle by Lancôme. I first discovered this fragrance, when I was shopping at the Lancôme counter. After smelling an array of fragrances that were introduced this year, I have come to the conclusion that this Lancôme fragrance is amazing. The praline note tends to be the most evident, followed by the Vanilla note. It is the perfect balance of warm and sweet, with a hint of Patchouli. This fragrance is not only long-lasting, but smells great on just about every lady who wears it. I think once you discover the essence this fragrance exudes, you are destined to love it.

9. Too Too Pretty by Betsy Johnson. When you first smell this perfume, you will notice the floral followed by the citrus. The most obvious individual scent in this fragrance is definitely the Gardenia (floral) and the Pink Grapefruit (citrus), which go great together with the other notes. The balance is almost perfect. Aside from having great longevity factor, this perfume smells good on every woman that I have smelled it on. Too Too Pretty is a creamy floral morphed into a clean scent. Imagine smelling "Too Too Pretty", this would be the result.

8. Summer Rose by Stella McCarthy. Summer and roses go together just like love and roses go together. One thing is certain, if I love this perfume, you are sure to love it also. I thought the rose and the lemon were evident in this fragrance, however; I found that the peony balanced this everything together to create the most inspiring, original fragrance I have ever smelled. The longevity is incredible, as when I first sprayed this fragrance on me at 9 am; it was still on after 5 pm. If you can imagine a beautiful sunny day manifested with roses and love, this is what Summer Rose makes you think of.

7. Gold Sugar by Aquolina. If you can imagine a mysterious version of Versace's Crystal Noir, but with more tropical and creamy notes Gold Sugar would be the result. In fact, the coconut and whipped cream notes are the most obvious in this fragrance, however; I found that the musk balances the notes creating a scent that is unique and fun for women of all ages. Out of the many perfumes I have tried, I also found that this one lasts longer than most. This is truly the perfume that keeps on going.

6. La Petite Robe Noir by Guerlain. I love this fragrance because it's incredibly mysterious, leaving a lot to the imagination. After spraying my wrist, I found myself smelling myself for 30 minutes because I was confused as to what I was actually smelling. The sour cherry and licorice are the most noticeable notes, however; the almond note tends to stand out and allow these individual scents to work together to create one of the most remarkable perfumes of 2012.

5. Viva La Juicy La Fleur by Juicy Couture. Should a fragrance smell romantic? What about fun? How about juicy? I think I recognized the honeysuckle, red berries, and caramel notes the most. The sweetness of this fragrance is effortlessly balanced with creamy floral and fruit. Whether day or night, this perfume works for every occasion. It also lasts modestly long. Viva La Juicy La Fleur is a fun fragrance and as unique as the woman that wears it, making it one of the best perfumes of 2012.

4. Miss Dior Le Parfum by Dior. One of the most intensely sensual fragrances I have discovered this year is definitely Miss Dior Le Parfum. The amber note is very obvious in this fragrance. I also could smell the patchouli, as well as, the rose. The sweetness manifested by the collaboration of scents creates a very warm vanilla base that works phenomenal with the floral. Also, in comparison to most fragrances, this one is such a concentrated formula; it has one of the strongest longevities I have discovered.

3. Girlfriend by Justin Bieber. When I first smelled this perfume, I was modestly impressed with it for several reasons. My first impression was the fact that despite being sweet, it wasn't overpowering. The vanilla is very prevalent in this fragrance more so than any other note followed by the apricot and strawberry. It's rather long-lasting and smells good on every woman that wears it. After smelling this perfume, I guarantee that you will not only want to buy it, but you'll have the "Bieber Fever".

2. Candy by Prada. If you can imagine simplicity on steroids, Candy by Prada would be a result. Although I am not fond of musk, I find that this fragrance represents the musk quite well. Candy delivers the perfect balance of powder and sugar, giving you the perfect scent. Out of all of the notes in this fragrance, I found that the most noticeable note was the caramel followed by the Benzoin. I sprayed this at noon and it was still on me after 10 pm. It's a well-known fact that candy tastes good, but in this case, it never smelled so good.

And the #1 perfume of 2012 is...

1. Pleasures Eau Fraiche by Estee Lauder. Eau Fraiche, French for "Fresh Water", this fragrance epitomizes a strong balance between fruit and floral. Whether you are a fruity girl or a floral girl, you will love this fragrance. The Jasmine is the most noticeable note that I have recognized in this scent, however; the Pink Pepper is very recognizable. It lasts relatively long and goes well with every type of chemistry. I am in love with this fragrance and I guarantee that you will be too.

Top 10 Eyeshadow Primers of 2012

10. CK One Eyeshadow Base. To think that CK One has extended their line of makeup into a tube of one of the most important beauty essentials to any enthusiast. I love the fact that it goes on so smooth and dries to a nice finish. It is long-lasting and does not fade nor crease. This eyeshadow primer comes in 3 colors that include: clean, simple, and off white. Whether you are looking for a new go to eyeshadow primer or simply looking for a change, this CK addition just may be the right one for you.

9. Bare Minerals Prime Time Eyelid Primer. Whether you are working a 9 to 5 job or heading out with the girls for a little pick me up, you cannot go wrong with this Bare Escentuals addition. Not only is it long-lasting, but it is does not smudge nor crease. What I love about this eyeshadow primer is the fact that it is free of parabens, synthetic dyes and fragrances, and does not possess any petrochemicals or sulfates. No matter what type of problematic skin type that you have (oily, dry, etc.) this eyeshadow primer caters to all of them.

8. Guerlain Ombre Éclat Eyeshadow Primer. Out of the many eyeshadow primers I have tried this year alone, I found that this Guerlain addition was the most underrated. Not only does this eyeshadow primer go on smooth, but it dries to a power finish almost instantaneously. It doesn't dry out, so despite being water resistant and long-lasting, this primer continues to keep your eyelids hydrated without promoting oil and creating a racoonish nightmare. There is a reason why Guerlain has existed for over 170 years and this eyeshadow primer is one of them.

7. NARS Smudge-Proof Eyeshadow Base. Any successful eyeshadow primer will prevent your eyes from turning into a zombie. In fact, the last thing you want is to look like a raccoon on steroids. I love the fact that this eyeshadow primer is long-lasting, as well as, hydrating yet water resistant. It does not crease nor smudge and it does not flake. When NARS dubbed this eyeshadow primer as "smudge-proof" they were not kidding.
6. LORAC Behind The Scenes Primer. I love this eyeshadow primer because it doesn't dry out and flake, and it keeps your eyeshadow from fading and creasing. There is nothing scarier than applying eye makeup and having it fall into your face after a few hours. Don't go behind the scenes, take a chance and use LORAC's Behind The Scenes Primer.
5. Laura Mercier Eye Canvas. When it comes to choosing an eyeshadow primer there is a lot to contemplate. Not only is this eyeshadow primer crease-proof, but it is waterproof, lasting extremely long as a result. It's also naturally moisturizing, so it doesn't dry out. LM's Eye Canvas comes in an array of colors too which include: ec-1, ec-2, ec-3, ec-4, and ec-5. Let Eye Canvas be the beginning of real art.
4. Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Being Too Faced isn't a bad thing, but only if you wear it. One thing that I noticed about this eyeshadow primer is the fact that it's incredibly long-lasting. It is also both smudge and crease proof, so it prevents the horrific raccoon eyes. This primer comes in an array of different shades and finishes. Every girl needs a little insurance in their beauty bag, but only if it's Too Faced.
3. Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials. If you are searching for a long-lasting eyeshadow primer, I truly recommend this one. This eyeshadow primer is water resistant, making it both crease and smudge-proof. Another reason to love this Trish McEvoy addition is the fact that it comes in a variety of colors which include: sand, linen, soft peach, rested, bare, demure, sheer gold, and nude. Go get this fast, so your eyeshadow will last.
2. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. This eyeshadow primer is long-lasting, crease-proof, smudge-proof, water resistant, flake-free, and great for all skin types and skin tones. This eyeshadow primer comes in a variety of colors which include: original, greed, sin, and eden. Urban Decay is cruelty free, so if you embrace that concept, you will appreciate this eyeshadow primer. I love UDPP and I guarantee that you will too.
And the #1 eyeshadow primer of 2012 is...
1. Elizabeth Arden Eye-Fix Primer. After trying numerous eyeshadow primers, I have come to the conclusion that this Elizabeth Arden addition is the best of 2012. Not only is it long-lasting, but it does not crease, so your eyeshadows, eyeliners, and powders do not fade. This eyeshadow primer also blends smoothly. If you are looking to use the best, you are going to want to use this one. Eyeshadow primer just doesn't get any better.

Top 10 Foundations Primers of 2012

10. Lancôme La Base Pro Makeup Base. I first discovered this Lancôme addition at Belk at the Georgia Square Mall in Athens, GA. Needless to say, what made me so impressed with this primer was the fact that it delivered great results without drying out my skin. I have a weird skin type, which is very oily in the Summer months, but relatively dry in the Winter months and combination/dry in the Fall and combination/oily in the Spring. It also tends to become acne prone during early Fall and early Spring. This foundation primer is fantastic, it's oil-free and is great for all skin types.

9. Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer with SPF 15. What I love most about this primer aside from the great longevity, is the fact that it delivers a great ability to lock in moisture while holding your makeup. There is nothing more horrible than makeup that melts and fades, creating a huge "hot mess". Primer is a beauty essential everyone must have and no matter what type of skin type you have or what you prefer to use in general, this Hourglass addition is for you.

8. Guerlain L'Or Makeup Base. If you didn't think that infusing real gold into a product would work, think again. Not only does this primer prevent your makeup from melting and fading, but it also creates a base for your pores and fine lines. This foundation primer also retains your skin's natural moisture, so your skin will not dry out. Fortified with 24 karat gold, this primer delivers real results.

7. Becca Resurfacing Primer. Alright, it's time to confess...I have been a Becca cosmetics enthusiast for quite some time and this product has a lot to do with that. When I tried this primer, I was going through a relatively acute acne spell which tends to occur at least once a year. I noticed that this not only helped camouflage the acne I was enduring, but actually worked to get rid of it. Whether a miracle worker or not, it created an instantaneous skin canvas and allowed my makeup to last a long time. This foundation primer fails to disappoint and succeeds at winning.

6. Giorgio Armani Master Make-up Primer. Long-lasting. Smudge-proof. Crease-proof. Water-resistant. Oil-free. These are just many attributes that work together to create what I believe is an amazing foundation primer. If you are searching for a primer that delivers these attributes then I truly recommend the Master Make-up Primer by Giorgio Armani. Although I am not a huge fan of his other priming product, I found myself having better luck with this one. Giorgio Armani is a great beauty brand and this is a great foundation primer.

5. Cle de Peau Beaute Luminizing Enhancer Base. I love the fact that this foundation helps skin lock in its natural moisture. Whether you have oily skin or even dry skin, this foundation primer will work. This foundation primer prevents makeup from melting throughout the day, without drying out your skin in the process. Lola by Marc Jacobs, One of the Best Floral Fragrances in the World Today

I first discovered Lola by Marc Jacobs when shopping at Nordstrom's in Denver, CO. It was introduced in 2009, but did not garner popularity until a few years ago. First and foremost, what caught my attention was the incredibly creative bottle. Then, I had the opportunity of smelling it.
When you first smell Lola, you will notice the rose note the most, followed by the peony note. The vanilla is a very prominent note in this fragrance, as well which makes this floral come together and work. The pink pepper note in this perfume creates a very mysterious and sultry effect that is soft and spicy.

Another note that I noticed to be very obvious in this fragrance is definitely the musk. To be honest, I am not a fan of musk. However; the musk in this particular perfume really morphs with the other fruity notes (pear and grapefruit) to deliver a unique scent. Although I am not finding the pear or grapefruit to be pungent in this fragrance, the notes collaborate to balance the musk note.

Compared to other fragrances, Lola is modestly long-lasting in comparison. The longevity factor is fantastic, as this perfume does not fade. I applied it at 9 am and it's still on me at 6 pm.

The bottle is eye catching because the base is very simple, but it top is a very colorful with a gold plate holding it together. I don't know of any woman that would not want this perfume sitting on her shelf.

The sillage is quite impressive in this fragrance, as it radiates perfectly. Although it is far from being "light", it isn't real heavy. I don't know about you, but I think when a woman wears their perfume to the point it makes others in the room cringe, that is a sign of a tarnished fragrance.

If you are into very robust, musky type fragrances you will not be fond of this fragrance simply because it's more of a lightly sweet creamy floral. If you are into clean fragrances, Lola is not for you either.

Pink Pepper creates a very spicy effect on this fragrance, however; if you are not a fan of any kind of spicy note in a creamy floral fragrance, Lola is not going to be your cup of tea.
If you are into very fruity or very sweet fragrances, you are not going to enjoy Lola.

RATING - 89%

You can purchase Marc Jacobs Lola at your nearest Marc Jacobs fragrance retailer. It is available in 2 sizes. The smaller one is $68 and it is 1.7 oz. The larger one is $88 and it is 3.4 oz. You can also find Lola in an array of gift sets which include body lotion, shower gel, and travel sized products. Would I use this perfume again? Absolutely.
