Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion

If I had to choose one of my favorite eyeshadow primers, Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion would be it. Not only does it glide on smooth, it dries virtually instantaneously. I love it because it truly does prevent eyeshadow, as well as, eyeliner from creasing, melting, and fading. If you are searching for a fantastic primer, I truly recommend this one.

Zebra Print Birth Control Pill Case

I absolutely love my zebra print birth control pill case. Not only is it a fashionable accessory, it holds my ortho tricyclen perfectly. I actually have been meaning to write this blog. Recently, when watching Dr. Oz I discovered that taking birth control pills helps prevent ovarian cancer. So, I decided to ask my gyno about this particular theory and he confirmed it to actually be true. I find this fact fascinating. Not only does birth control work to prevent pregnancy, it works to help prevent ovarian cancer.

Viva Glam II

If I had to choose on of my favorite “go-to” nude lipsticks, I would definitely have to say Viva Glam II by MAC. Like most MAC lip products, the color payoff is amazing and because it is heavily pigmented, you can build color to the desired shade you want. I also love the fact that it has a vanilla undertone, making it not only wearable but really pleasant to wear.

Shiseido's IBUKI Refining Moisturizer

Shiseido's latest IBUKI Refining Moisturizer is marketed to renew the skin's surface, leaving you with amazingly smooth skin which is guaranteed to be hydrated all day. It is also guaranteed to correct the appearance of uneven skin tone which is caused by genetics, DNA damage and the environment. When  first head about a new refining moisturizer that promises instantaneous results, I just knew I had to try it. Recently, when shopping at Sephora I discovered the Shiseido IBUKI Refining Moisturizer. So, what did I think?

One thing that I loved most about this moisturizer is the fact that the formula is so light, I felt as if I was using a serum. Serums tend to be stronger to lotions because they sink into the skin faster and I felt as if IBUKI sunk into my skin like a second skin immediately.

The hydration that this refining moisturizer produces absorbs instantaneously. And because of the consistency is like a serum (very milky, yet light), I felt that the moisturizing part occurred in the same way.

I have been using this moisturizing product for about two weeks and I have noticed that there is an improvement in my skin's overall appearance. Not only has it diminished blemish marks, but my pores are not as visible as they were before.

The optics in this product are very faint and although they are not modestly visible, this moisturizer still gives you a luminous yet healthy glow, which I really enjoy.

This product has a nice clean smell, which I enjoy. It isn't overpowering. Some products you can smell the chemicals in them, but with this one you cannot.

One thing to appreciate about this new addition to Shiseido is the fact that it is free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.

Some people love heavy moisturizers, whereas; others prefer light moisturizers. IBUKI is a lighter moisturizer and because of this, if you prefer something heavier, more than likely you will not like this one.

If you have oily skin, this moisturizer is not something I would recommend. Although it isn't heavy, it will not control oil. Although my skin gets incredibly oily during the Summer months, I noticed shortly after working out at the gym that this moisturizer had no control over oily skin.

Although sensitive skin wearers will have a different reaction to this, my skin has always been sensitive to some degree. I didn't notice any weird reactions to wearing this like I did with other moisturizers, however; I did notice that when I use this product without using my standard serum that I did breakout a little bit.

This product is available through Shiseido and Sephora for $45. Would I use this product again? Yes, but only during the Fall and Winter months. Would I recommend this product to a friend? Yes, but only for those with dry, dry/combination, and combination skin.

The Dangerous Palette by Urban Decay

Urban Decay is currently having a sale on this palette, as is Sephora and I thought I would take advantage of this special incentive, so I could try something new. I am a big fan of Urban Decay's eyeshadows, so I am looking forward to trying this palette. If you are purchasing this palette from the internet, I must add that the shadows look a lot prettier in person than in photos. Review coming soon.
