Mio Skincare: Get Waisted

Mio Skincare is a world-renowned body care company located in the heart of Huntington Beach, California. Whether you looking for that extra lift or simply wanting to achieve a tighter silhouette, this California based skincare company more than likely has a product for you. Recently, I had the opportunity to try Mio Skincare's Get Waisted Sculpting Body Shaper. What did I think?

PROS

I haven't been using this product for even a month and I think I lost about 2 inches alone just by using this product. This of course was in collaboration with exercise and eating a healthy vegan and GMO-free diet.

The application of this product is so easy. All it takes is a moment of your time. Two pumps, once a day, and basically you are good to go.

Not only is my stomach more toned after using this product, but my skin is much more firmer and smoother. I also believe this product made my stomach tighter.

Whether you need an extra pick-me-up to get your abs activated or simply looking to tone up, this product is what you will need. If you suffer from love handles, muffin tops, or donut abs; you will benefit from this product.

At first I wasn't a fan of the scent, however; it started to grow on me. It's an acquired scent which reminds me of a combination of floral and menthol.

One of the many things to value about this product is the fact that it is paraben-free and synthetic-free. It is also free of mineral oil, petrolatum, glycols, xenoestrogens, phthalates, and synthetic dyes.

This product was NOT tested on animals.

CONS

Some of the ingredients included in this amazing Mio addition include: laminaria digitata extract, palmaria palmata extract, oat protein, caffeine, delesseria sanguinea extract, chenopodium quinoa seed extract, propanediol, adipoless, linalool, citral, menthol, and more. If you suffer from any allergies to any of this ingredients, I think it would be a good idea to consult your doctor before using it or simply refrain from using the product.

This product will not remove large deposits of fat, like adiopose fat. It is not a topical fat burner, it is a shaper and works to create a natural lipolysis. If you are looking to lose a huge amount of weight, this is not the product for you.

Mio Skincare's Get Waisted Sculpting Body Shaper is available at Mio Skincare or your nearest Mio Skincare retailer for $56. Would I use this product again? Absolutely. Would I purchase this product? Most definitely. Would I recommend it to a friend? Yes, but only if you are looking to achieve a smoother, firmer, and more toned waist. Mio Skincare: Boob Tube +

Mio Skincare remains to be one of my personal favorite body care brands in the world today. Why? Because they have so many products that benefit me. In fact, I recently had the chance to try Mio Skincare's Boob Tube + Multi-Action Bust Firmer. So, what did I think?

PROS

I haven't used this product for even a month and my natural 36DD (or 34DDD) breasts are extremely perky and I am not kidding. This definitely made my chest firmer, as I noticed a difference after using this product for 2 weeks. I think whether you are 18 or 80, you will benefit from using this amazing Mio Skincare addition.

My decollate not only looks more smooth, but feels smooth too. I also noticed that my breasts also look more nourished, hydrated, plump, and youthful.

After using this product for 4 weeks, my skin's circulation was naturally elevated. As a result, my skin has more of a bounce to it. I also noticed that my skin's a lot stronger, as well.

This product actually works as a great firming medium for not only your breasts, but your face. It can also be used on your butt and works a natural way to lift.

There are no parabens in this product. It is also free of synthetic dyes and other chemicals, including petrochemicals.

This product was NOT tested on animals.

CONS

Some of the main ingredients in this product include: CoQ10, dandelion root extract, lady thistle root extract, evening primrose oil, chinese angelica root extract, organic avocado oil, white mulberry bark extract, organic sweet almond oil, gotu kola extract, organic olive oil, hyaluronic acid, and more. If you suffer from an allergic reaction to any of these ingredients, more than likely you will want to refrain from using this product.

If you are looking for an extreme lift, I do not think you will find this product appealing.

Mio Skincare's Boob Tube + Multi-Action Bust Firmer is available at Mio Skincare or your nearest Mio Skincare retailer for $48. Would I use this product again? Absolutely. In fact, I just used it 20 minutes ago. Would I purchase this product? Most definitely. Would I recommend this to a friend? Yes, especially to all of the women I know with real boobs. For more information about this product, please visit the official site today.

Fashion Talk with Neide Hall: Exclusive Interview with Charmosa Swimwear

One of Neide Hall's many beautiful
creations.
Charmosa Swimwear is the Bay Area's best kept secret. With everything from exotic bikinis to lavish one-pieces and more, you are definitely going to want to frequent this amazing establishment before traveling to your next destination. Recently, I had the opportunity to talk to Neide Hall, the founder of this amazing brand. Here is what she had to tell me...

(Q) Hello Neide. How are you? Tell me a little more about your Charmosa Swimwear...

I created Charmosa with the goal of making a better bikini. My couture collection involves hand painted patterns, hand embroidered embellishments, and unique designs that are not only gorgeous to look at, but fit well when you put them on. My designs stand out with respect to others and frequently attract compliments to the wearer.

(Q) I am curious, what inspired you to create Charmosa Swimwear?

My inspiration is the women and Brazil for all of my designs. I am inspired by the women because I want them to feel confident and look amazing in my creations. This has not been simple to achieve. I believe that my experience in the fashion industry provides me with the right understanding about how to combine the best fabric, unique handcrafts, and hand embroidered accents. The result is modern designs that are timeless. This special combination is making Charmosa get noticed in fashion shows, fashion weeks, magazines and blogs.

(Q) Tell me a little more about the inspiration behind the brand...

When I decided to create Charmosa, I knew that I wanted it to be special. I wanted Charmosa to be a couture company where my costumers would be certain that their swimsuit is not a copy of what other companies are offering. I can assure the uniqueness of Charmosa's hand painted and hand embroidered designs. I'm also excited about our new sublimation process that uses my own photography to create the patterns on the fabric. I'll be presenting this new process at the Swim Collective Trade Show and Phoenix Fashion Week in the coming months. I am also proud to be a Brazilian Couture Swimwear Company.

(Q) I think it is amazing that you worked in the industry as a model before becoming a designer and business owner.

Yeah, I did that when I was living in Brazil. Being a model made me appreciate the work of a designer. The transformation that takes place from fabric to art, the emotion that you put into each piece. It is an amazing experience for me.

(Q) You are bringing a lot of the Brazilian culture into your swimwear, which I find to be so amazing.

Yes, I do. I love to bring the most amazing hand crafted work into my designs. I have lived here in the USA for almost 13 years, but I still get a lot influence from Brazil. The United States has served as some inspiration too, though. For example, I have a hand painted print that was inspired by the Red Rocks Park near Las Vegas.

(Q) Out of all of the styles you produce, which styles are the most popular? Tell me a little more about your best sellers...

I find the hand-painted designs to be the best sellers. When my customers have a new trip scheduled, it's common for them to purchase another hand-painted design. Another design that has been popular is the Porto de Galinhas bikini, which has over 300 hand-embroidered flowers on the top.

(Q) What are the hottest Summer swimwear trends right now?

Charmosa! Our Brazilian Couture Swimwear are charming the beaches one bikini at a time.

(Q) Charmosa is truly hitting the runway scene. What events do you have coming up?

Yes, we have a busy schedule. I'm one of 14 emerging designers to compete for the title of the designer of the year for Phoenix Fashion Week. I'll be there in August presenting 4 new designs from the 2014/15 collection. I'll be back in Phoenix form October 02 through 4th for the big Fashion Week to present 12 looks total. Also, I'll be presenting my line at Swim Collective in Southern California from August 12th to 14th.

Phoenix Fashion week 2014 event will be held on October 2nd through 4th, 2014, at Talking Stick Resort, Scottsdale, AZ and is expected to attract over 60,000 people. I am a swimwear sponsor and Judge for the Great American Pageant Contest held in August where my husband, Greg, will be representing me. I'm also a swimwear sponsor for The Miss Sacramento Pageant held in Sacramento in September.

(Q) When someone approaches you and says "Neide, I love your swimwear. It has changed my life." How do you feel when you hear this feedback?

It really makes me feel amazing. Not only because I made a woman feel sexy and confident, but because I played a small part in a special time in their life, when they were happy, relaxed, and with people they care about. That's priceless.

(Q) For all of those fashion enthusiasts reading this interview, what would you like them to know? What is next for Charmosa Swimwear?

I'd like them to know that my swimwear not only looks great, but the fit and durability are also excellent. My swimwear can be purchased risk-free on the Charmosa website, Charmosa Swimwear, and at several boutiques around California. As for the future, I've been thinking about a collection for men.

I'm a Pittsburgh Beauty Examiner for Examiner.com

Examiner.com is more than just another writing opportunity, it's an outlet filled with credible, passionate, and knowledgeable content producers who express their words through individual expertise.

When I heard the sad news about Yahoo! Voices (or Yahoo! Contributor Network) closing earlier last month, I applied for Examiner. The next day I was sent an email saying that I was accepted. Although I really cannot say too much about this website, as I have only been a contributor for a month, so far it seems great. I am definitely looking forward to contributing, that is for sure.

My Top 5 Favorite Nude Lipsticks by MAC

From left to right: Myth, Fleshpot, Close Contact, Viva Glam II, and Crème d' Nude.

About the lipsticks...

Myth is simply a light nude with a satin finish. It's neutral, which I love. This is one of my favorite nudes by MAC because it works fantastic with my skin tone.

Fleshpot is best described as a pastel pink-beige. It's very faint and possesses a satin finish. I love the color payoff of this particular nude, as it simply works.

Close Contact is not as nude as the other lipsticks, but I enjoy it because it is a stunning amplified peach shade. This lipstick is limited edition, however; I am hoping that MAC decides to include this particular shade as a permanent selection.

Viva Glam II is simply a nude mauve shade with a satin finish. As one of MAC's best selling lipsticks since it's release in 1997, this is clearly one of the best nude lipsticks by Makeup Artist Cosmetics to date.

Crème d' Nude is what I would called a creamy warm nude. Almost like a pastel peach with a hint of beige. The finish is different from the prior lipsticks I have mentioned as it's more than a creamsheen finish.

DIY Beauty: How To Make Body Butter

Body butter is simply the infusion of a cream and a lotion. It is excellent for every skin type and is one of the best beauty essentials around. The question remains, is it possible to make your own body butter? Absolutely.

The ingredients you will need are:

1 Cup of Shea Butter
1/2 Cup of Coconut Oil
4 Tbsp. of Olive Oil
2 Tbsp. of Vitamin E

First and foremost, you will want to prepare your shea butter. Using a double boiling medium, place your shea butter on the top. Melt generously. Continue stirring.

As you are stirring, you want to simply combine all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix generously. You can also combine them into a stand-alone mixer where you can combine and mix them together.

For dry skin, add:
2 Tbsp. of Lemon Peel Oil
2 Tbsp. of Rosehip Oil
1 Tbsp. of Sea Buckthorn Oil

For oily skin, add:
1 Tbsp. of Tea Tree Oil
1 Tbsp. of Apricot Kernel Oil

For normal skin, add:
1 Tbsp. of Argan Oil
1 Tbsp. of Sweet Almond Oil

For combination skin, add:
1 Tbsp. of Jojoba Oil
1 Tbsp. of Sweet Almond Oil

For sensitive skin, add:
1 Tbsp. of Argan Oil
1 Tbsp. of Apricot Kernel Oil

For blemish skin, add:
2 Tbsp. of Tea Tree Oil
1 Tbsp. of Jojoba Oil

For mature skin, add:
2 Tbsp. of Lemon Peel Oil
2 Tbsp. of Sea Buckthorn Oil
1 Tbsp. of Argan Oil

For stressed skin, add:
2 Tbsp. of Orange Peel Oil
1 Tbsp. of Lemon Peel Oil
1 Tbsp. of Apricot Kernel Oil

This is fragrance-free, however; you can add your essential oil of choice to give your body butter the scent you want. NOW Foods has an extensive selection of essential oils. Continue mixing everything together until it forms a whipped yet butter-like consistency.

Congratulations! You have just made your own body butter.
